I shot this video in wonderful Mexico City in support of Prime PR to support the launch of Prime Video in Mexico. PR initially asked for a simple interview with Gael about his show Mozart in the Jungle, which was going to be available to stream for the first time in Mexico. However, I thought we were missing an opportunity. It is important to me to show that Amazon takes great care to fit itself inside the culture of the countries we serve. So, I rescripted the interview questions so they were a little deeper than the show itself and developed a shot list with guest DP Matt Daniels. In the end, we delivered a much more engaging piece with more cultural relevance.
